Rates

I am happy to edit your first chapter for free (up to ten manuscript pages*). You can learn a little about my style and determine if I am the right fit for you. If you decide to move forward, I'll have you send me your full manuscript, and we'll draw up a contract.

Generally, I charge $2.00 per manuscript page for a substantive edit. For a copy edit, my rate is $1.00 per manuscript page.

Prices may vary depending on the extensiveness of the work to be done, the deadline, and your needs and expectations, but a price will always be agreed upon up front.

I'm completely open to negotiation, paying in installments, and bartering. So talk to me, I'm sure we can work something out.

*Industry standard for a manuscript page is 250 words.
